Back in the studio I am looking forward to the spring and capturing the new fresh greens that seem to burst out of the remnants of the autumn hues. It has to be one of the nicest times in the calendar and already we are off to a good start with such a mild February.

Yewbarrow looked brilliant from the fells by Over Beck. The Autumn Colours were saturated with the afternoon sun.

Having walked up to Silver Howe we descended to Grasmere along Red Bank Fells and Nicholas Wood.
